Eloise Butler Wildflower Garden
Welcome Stand

Cedar lumber, cedar shakes, misc. amazing park items

Completed/Began: 2022

We were honored to be chosen to create the Eloise Butler Wildflower Garden Welcome Stand. The first ever public wildflower garden in the United States, it was established in 1907 by Eloise Butler. Today it sits within Theodore Wirth Park in Minneapolis, MN.

The Welcome Stand is run by a group of volunteers who greet incoming guests, educate folks on the garden, it's history, and what they might find beyond the entrance. The garden has been a source of inspiration for us and we know the importance it holds for everyone who visits, gardener, birder, nature-admirer, or otherwise. We hope the stand elicits a sense of welcoming, curiosity, and a little bit of charlie brown.

A big thank you to Summer Badawi, Susan Wilkins, and the Volunteers at Eloise Butler Wildflower Garden to make this project happen and give it life.
